Cosmic Match Launches as Humanity Returns to the Moon — A Dating App for Space Lovers

Today we celebrate humanity’s return to the Moon. After 53 years, we are going back to Earth’s natural satellite.

The future of humanity lies in space. When we first ventured to the Moon, we caught a glimpse of how vast, promising, and extraordinary our future could be. Today, we return. This is the first real step toward establishing a lasting presence beyond Earth and expanding farther into the Cosmos.

Cosmic Match began exactly one year ago. On that day, I had no idea that we would be returning to the Moon on this exact date, the very anniversary of Cosmic Match’s launch.

We started small, but our vision is enormous. We do not want to be just another dating app. We want to connect people who share something rare and meaningful: a deep fascination with the Universe. People who love space exploration, astronomy, astrophotography, and science. We want to bring together those with the same passions, people who often struggle to find someone truly special on other apps.

But we want to go even further than that. We want to help forge new families. Families whose children will grow up surrounded by wonder for the Cosmos, inspired by the stars, and filled with love for space exploration. Those children may become the future explorers of the Moon and Mars. That is the great mission that drives us: to play a part, even if modestly at first, in helping humanity expand beyond its cradle. First the Moon. Then Mars. Then the rest of the Solar System. And one day, the stars.

I cannot imagine a more exciting future than one in which we dare to move beyond the safety of our planetary home. A future written by brave explorers. Some of them are already among us. Some are adults, others are still children. And many have not even been born yet. Many of them depend on a real connection between two human beings, a connection that may one day give rise to a new life, a child who will grow, learn, and fall in love with the star-filled night sky. And one day, that person will not only dream of going to space, to the planets, and to the stars, but will actually go. They will explore the Moon, walk on Mars, live beyond Earth, and in time their descendants will carry that journey forward, venturing farther and farther until humanity finally reaches the stars.
